The 5 AeroCopilot Tiers
Free, Student, Pilot, Pro, Operator, and School plans for AeroCopilot US — what each tier includes, who it's built for, and how to choose.
The 5 AeroCopilot Tiers
AeroCopilot US is sold as flat-rate subscriptions. AI is included in every paid plan as a feature of the subscription itself — not as a separate balance you have to top up. This page lists every tier, the audience it was built for, and the headline differentiator.
All paid tiers include a 14-day free trial (except Pro). Annual billing is the primary cadence and matches the aviation industry norm.
Free — $0
For trial pilots and Part 107 operators who want to evaluate the platform before subscribing.
- 5 AI chats per day (visible counter)
- Basic weather and calculators
- Safety features (VFR-IMC predictor, scud-running alert) always on
- Free tier never auto-converts to paid
This is the only tier where you'll see a "chats remaining today" counter. It exists to make the upgrade decision honest.
Student — $9.99/mo or $99.99/yr
For student pilots working on PPL, IR, or CPL.
- Full AI Copilot
- Study platform with 1,432+ FAA-style questions across 12 certificates
- 3 flight plans per month
- 14-day free trial
Pilot — $14.99/mo or $149.99/yr
For active GA pilots — PPL, IR, and beyond.
- Unlimited AI Copilot
- Unlimited flight plans
- Full safety center (FRAT, Risk Window, Threat Board)
- Approach plates
- 14-day free trial
This is the most common tier for owner-operators and serious recreational pilots.
Pro — $24.99/mo or $249.99/yr
For CPL/ATP/CFI power users who fly a lot and want priority routing.
- Priority AI Copilot
- SWIM (System Wide Information Management) feeds
- Unlimited aircraft profiles
- All Pilot features
Pro does not include the 14-day trial — it's intended for users who already know the product.
Operator — $39/seat/mo or $199/mo flat (yearly: $390/seat or $1,990 flat)
For Part 107 commercial LLCs running 3+ RPICs and multiple aircraft.
- Multi-RPIC compliance rollup
- Fleet maintenance tracking
- Audit-ready CSV exports
- Priority support
The LLC pays whichever is lower for them — per-seat dominates at 5 or fewer RPICs, flat dominates at 6 or more. Yearly is 16.7% off (two months free).
School — $19.99/seat/mo
For Part 141 and Part 61 flight schools.
- AI Copilot included per seat (Pilot-tier capability)
- Fleet management
- CFI dashboard
- Centralized billing — school pays per seat, students pay nothing
