Summary
We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Hawker Beechcraft Corporation Models B300 and B300C (C-12W) airplanes. This AD was prompted by an error found in the take-off speeds and field lengths published in the FAA-approved airplane flight manual. This AD requires a correction to the published data in the airplane flight manual and the pilot's operating handbook to ensure it corresponds with the published data in the pilot's checklist. This condition, if not corrected, could result in a pilot taking off from shorter runways than required by the airplane if the airplane loses an engine after takeoff decision speed (V<INF>1</INF>). This could result in the airplane running out of runway before take-off can be accomplished. We are issuing this AD to correct the unsafe condition on these products.
