Running Part 107 cohorts today means stitching a learning platform to a scheduler to a CRM — three subscriptions, three logins, and no single view of who is actually ready for the test.
AeroCopilot gives a drone school one cockpit: a cohort roster, assigned study, per-student exam readiness, and a verifiable completion certificate — with an AI Copilot on every seat and practice questions built from live FAA data.
- One cockpit for every cohort — roster, roles, and progress in a single view instead of an LMS, a scheduler, and a CRM stitched together.
- Per-student §107.73 exam readiness across all 13 knowledge areas — see who's ready before you send them to a PSI test center.
- Live Context practice — questions built from real FAA data right now (UAS Facility Map ceilings, active TFRs, live METARs) that no static courseware can copy.
- A full FAA-format mock exam — 60 questions, 120 minutes, 70% to pass (42 of 60) — so readiness is measured, not guessed.
- §107.65 recency tracking that fails closed per student — a warning at 60 days, escalating at 30, critical inside 7.
- Verifiable completion certificates — a tamper-evident SHA-256 seal, issued on behalf of your academy, never an FAA endorsement.
- AI Copilot on every seat — instructors, staff, and students included, no token caps, grounded in official FAA/NWS data, never fabricated.
What a Part 107 school actually needs. Cockpit tools, not a stack of tabs.
A cohort day with AeroCopilot. How the platform runs a Part 107 class.
A flight school runs on outcomes, not a stack of tabs
Your reputation rides on pass rates. A student who fails the UAG test costs them a PSI test-center fee and two weeks — and costs you a testimonial. Guessing who’s ready from attendance and a gradebook isn’t a readiness signal.
AeroCopilot was built to show readiness before the test, prove completion after it, and keep the whole cohort on one invoice — so you run the program, not the tooling.
This page covers school cohort operations. For the underlying airspace and compliance tooling itself, see the drone features page.
What we don't do yet
- Direct LAANC submission to the FAA is built (an Aloft USS integration) but not yet live in production, pending credential activation. Today the platform gives live airspace intelligence, UAS Facility Map ceiling lookups, and an automatic do-you-need-LAANC check on every mission.
- We import your class roster by CSV (bulk invite). Native LMS integrations (LTI/SCORM) ship when schools ask for them, not before.
- Live Context questions are practice items validated against live FAA data. They are not official FAA UAG questions and are not a guarantee of a passing score.
- The completion certificate is a tamper-evident course-completion record, not an FAA certificate, endorsement, or authorization — only the FAA issues the Remote Pilot Certificate.
