What we ingest
Every observation in the NDBC latest-observations file — wind, sea state and air temperature per buoy — ingested whole, with no geographic filter. The file is the global NDBC and partner network, so it includes stations well outside US waters; selecting the buoys relevant to a given offshore operating area happens at read time, not at ingest.
Where this feed reaches
A region on this list means we fetch it. It is not a promise of station density: a listed region can still have sparse or no reporting sites near a given airport. Where a feed does not reach a region at all, this page says so instead of showing an empty panel.
