WeeklyTFR Digest

This Week's TFRs for GA Pilots

Every week, we review active and upcoming FAA Temporary Flight Restrictions and highlight the ones that matter most to general aviation pilots. TFR data is public domain from the FAA — we curate it so you don't miss what's relevant.

What You'll Find Here

Temporary Flight Restrictions are issued by the FAA to restrict aircraft operations in specific areas. They cover everything from presidential movements and sporting events to wildfire suppression and space launches. For GA pilots, knowing which TFRs are active along your route is essential for legal and safe flying.

Each weekly digest includes:

  • Active TFRs affecting popular GA corridors and training areas
  • Upcoming TFRs for the week ahead
  • Recently expired TFRs (for situational awareness)
  • Plain-language explanations of NOTAM text
  • Geographic context and altitude restrictions

Data Source

All TFR data comes from the FAA NOTAM Management System and is in the public domain. AeroCopilot polls the FAA NMS feed every 15 minutes, then adds curation, filtering, and plain-language summaries on top of the official source. This digest is intended for awareness and weekly planning — pre-flight pilots should use the live AeroCopilot map for the up-to-the-minute TFR picture.
