About this dataset

Storm Prediction Center convective outlooks for severe thunderstorms (Day 1–3), both the categorical risk bands and the hazard probabilities underneath them. Day 1–3 categorical risk polygons (MRGL, SLGT, ENH, MDT, HIGH) plus the 15 probabilistic products SPC publishes — tornado, hail and wind probability by day, including the significant-severe breakouts. Each probability is stored as the upstream label or DN and never rounded down to zero, and an outlook reading "Less Than 2% All Areas" is kept as an explicit area-wide negative confirmation rather than as missing data. Long-range planning warnings in the AI Copilot.

  • Continental United States

A region on this list means we fetch it. It is not a promise of station density: a listed region can still have sparse or no reporting sites near a given airport.
