Long-form forecaster reasoning -- the synoptic setup, model disagreement and confidence behind the forecast -- issued by every NWS office that publishes an Area Forecast Discussion, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and American Samoa. The complete Area Forecast Discussion text as the issuing office published it, with the office identifier and the real issuance timestamp -- not the aviation-only excerpt, and not the time we happened to fetch it. AI references the AFD when building multi-day cross-country briefings.
